Policy-making for all: How governments can integrate young people’s perspectives in decision making

Digital fishbowl discussion:
Policy-making for all: How governments can integrate young people’s perspectives in decision making

Young people are less often considered in political decisions. At the same time, young people growing up in the European Union face different challenges and are affected by events such as the COVID-19 pandemic, the war against Ukraine or climate change.
Together with experts we want to discuss how decision-makers can more effectively address the concerns of young people to prevent decreasing trust in political institutions. Various instruments such as youth strategies, regulatory impact assessment tools like the youth-check or forms of youth participation will be addressed.

Format

A fishbowl discussion is an exciting format where you as a participant can take a seat on the podium and join the discussion. Participants can also submit questions for the panelists via chat, or just lean back and enjoy.
